4th Year Steel Competition

This project was about creating a culinary arts college on a small site with the primary construction method being steel connections. I chose the site on Roswell Rd. just north of the Buckhead Triangle. Aside from creating a working campus my main focus was to make the street front building continue the urban context.
Celebrating Service - Honoring Sacrifice

In the final project of my college career I wanted to do somehting big. I grew up in a military town for most of my life. Many of my friends are in the military and several have been on deployments to Afghanistan. I wanted to give them something to come home to that wasn't a dissused warehouse or repurposed basketball gym turned into a "ceremonial" space. With this thesis I aimed to create a celebrating space and unforgetable structure that gives the soldiers a truely welcoming space to come home to and remember those who did not make it home.
Assorted Building Projects

Each of these projects was done in my free time. Most use the older versions of Revit, notably 9.1.

2nd Year Restaurant Project

This restaurant project done in my 2nd year at SPSU was located in the Castleberry Hill District near Downtown Atlanta. The site was long and narrow and had a severe elevation change from front to back. In this space we had to work in pairs and design two restaurants with a food bank attached to both. This presented a unique challenge to put all the essential restaurant needs in such a small space.

In my work with RCG I did several exterior and interior renders and a logo design for a restaurant in Emory Point. Under each image is a caption describing the project.
